Federal prosecutors have charged five men linked to Lil Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) crew in a murder-for-hire scheme allegedly targeting Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.
According to the U.S. District Court indictment, the suspects planned an August 2022 shooting in Los Angeles in apparent retaliation for the 2020 killing of rapper King Von, who died during an altercation involving Quando Rondo’s associate, Lul Timm, in Atlanta.
The indicted men Kavon London Grant (known as “Vonnie”), Deandre Dontrell Wilson (“DeDe”), Keith Jones (“Flacka”), David Brian Lindsey (“Browneyez”), and Asa Houston (“Boogie”) are accused of conspiring to commit murder for hire.
The indictment details how OTF resources were allegedly used to coordinate flights and secure weapons, but Robinson was mistakenly killed instead of Quando Rondo.
Lil Durk, though reportedly detained by federal authorities amid the investigation, is not named as a defendant and has denied claims that OTF operates as a gang.
Court proceedings for Houston and Jones are scheduled in Chicago, with other suspects set for transfer to Los Angeles.
