The New York Times publishes its NYT Connections game daily at midnight for its regular players.
The game consists of 16 words that must be categorized into 4 groups, and each group of words must have a similar meaning.
CHEWY, BOBA, and HAWK are some words that have tricky meanings in today’s NYT Connections.
NYT Connections Solution For September 20 With Meaning
In NYT Connections, words are divided into a 4X4 grid containing 16 words. You must sort the words into 4 categories.
The four words of a group carry a similar type of meaning that might be characters of a movie or synonyms of a word.
Colors indicate the difficulty of the game. Yellow is the easiest color, and purple is the hardest.
Green and Blue are the medium levels in the game. You can start by picking any word and finding the words that relate to them.
We started with the easiest word of the day, IMAGINE, and then related words to others.
The word meant to assume, so we searched for words under the assume category. After a while, the remaining words were FIGURE, SUSPECT, and THINK.
Now, for the next group, we picked the word PERSON, which was relatively straightforward. However, we made an incorrect attempt to categorize this group.
The three words were CHARACTER, INDIVIDUAL, and PARTY. Finally, it was time to categorize the last group of the day.
After two successful groupings, only 8 words remained. It was time to arrange the last 4 words.
CHEWY Meaning And Purple Category In Today’s NYT
We had 3 attempts remaining, so we decided to use the word CHEWY. The word has multiple meanings, so it was a bit difficult.
While making the group, we made two mistakes, and only the last attempt was left. Very carefully, we picked the other 3 words, BOBA, EMPEROR, and SOLO, which were correct.
As always, the last part was the most challenging. The Purple group contains CAT, CORNER, HAWK, and LITTER.
With this, we ended today’s NYT Connections, which was a bit tougher compared to the day before’s Connections game.
Here is the summary of NYT Connections for 20 September, which you can read and solve.
