What Is The Robot Of The Future?
The Robot of the Future is also known as the Puppet of the Future.
It is a giant boss who sits in a pool of poisonous acidic water.
The mere size of the boss can make it intimidating for the players.
However, defeating the actual boss is not difficult; it is taking out the poisonous water.
In addition, there are many hidden side quests and paths to get to the boss.
How To Get To The Robot Of The Future?
To get to the Robot of the Future, follow these steps:
- Go to the location of the Union Workshop Entrance.
- Then, go from the elevator to the hallway and follow the path. You will encounter some dummy puppets in the hallway.
- There will be a door with a blinking red light which you cannot open yet. Therefore, either defeat the puppets or run ahead. Again, you see two more puppets waiting to defeat you.
- If you can run ahead and avoid these smaller mobs, do run. Or, if you defeat all the puppets, you can gain the Vivid Ergo Fragment.
- Going further, enter a red pipe. Halfway through, you will encounter a bridge.
- There, another dummy puppet will crawl to fight you. Keep fighting as more puppets will crawl from the ceiling above.
- After defeating the puppets, follow the blinking red light.
- Appear the wooden wall as a new miniboss will approach you.
- Furthermore, defeating the boss will reward you with the Swordsmanship Master’s Amulet.
- Then, find the Lever where the miniboss first appears.
- You could also avoid defeating the miniboss; by circling the area. The boss will come after you quickly hit the Lever.
Hitting the Lever will make the Corruption in the Union Workshop disappear. This means the poisonous water will be drained.
How To Defeat The Robot Of The Future?
Now that you have drained the acidic water, it’s time to fight the actual boss.
The Robot of the Future is a slow boss susceptible to electric attacks.
However, if it hits you, you will be struck.
In addition, the hit will decrease the recharge rate of your Stamina.
There are only four moves the Robot of the Future has.
- Stomp One Foot
- Stomp Both Feet
- Strike With One Arm
- Spin With Both Arms
For the first move, dodge the move by stepping aside to the unused foot.
In addition, for the second move, back up and dodge the move.
Depending on the arm, dodge left or right for the third move.
Finally, for the last move, run far away to where the Robot cannot reach.
