Continue reading to learn how to fix the Pokemon GO Plus Plus with auto-catch issues.

Why Is Pokémon GO Plus Plus Not Auto-Catching?

Pokémon GO Plus Plus is a new device that can connect to Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sleep apps.

It can automatically spin PokéStops and throw Poké Balls, including Great Balls and Ultra Balls.

Moreover, it can track your sleep and give you bonuses in the game.

However, there are several reasons why Pokémon GO Plus Plus is not auto-catching. Here are some possible reasons:

  • WiFi or Bluetooth interference
  • Device or app issues
  • Battery drain
  • Silent mode
  • Device errors

How To Fix Pokémon GO Plus Plus Not Auto Catching?

There are a few possible reasons why your Pokémon GO Plus Plus is not auto-catching.

Here are some steps you can try to fix it:

1. Bluetooth Settings

This may interfere with the Bluetooth connection between your device and the Pokémon GO Plus.

Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and your Pokémon GO Plus Plus is paired with your device.

You can check this in your device’s Bluetooth settings.

2. Enable Auto Catch Setting In Pokémon GO

The Auto Catch setting in Pokémon GO allows your Pokémon GO Plus Plus to attempt to catch any Pokémon it encounters automatically.

Therefore, to enable this setting, open Pokémon GO and go to the Settings menu.

Then, scroll down to the Pokémon GO Plus section and toggle the Auto-Catch setting to on.

3. Check Bag’s Inventory

You cannot catch any Pokémon if your bag is complete, even with the Auto Catch setting enabled.

Interestingly, ensure you have enough Poké Balls and other items to catch Pokémon.

4. Check If The Device Is In Silent Mode

You can follow the steps below to check if the device is in silent mode:

Hold the top button and press the main button for at least one second.

The Pokémon GO Plus Plus will vibrate twice briefly and enter silent mode.

To exit silent mode, repeat the same action until the Pokémon GO Plus Plus vibrates once.

Importantly, make sure the Nearby Pokémon and Nearby PokéStops options are enabled.

5. Place the Pokémon GO Plus Plus Near Your Device

If you place the Pokémon GO Plus + near your device, you can connect it to the Pokémon GO app.

Hence, you can use it to play the game without looking at your screen.

Moreover, you can use it to track your sleep data for the Pokémon Sleep app.

To connect the Pokémon GO Plus + to your device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Pokémon GO app and tap the Poké Ball > Settings icon.
  2. Tap Connected Devices and Services > Pokémon GO Plus +, and your device will begin trying to connect.
  3. Press the main button on your Pokémon GO Plus +.
  4. Then, select the Pokémon GO Plus + that you wish to connect and tap it.
  5. A confirmation message will appear once your Pokémon GO Plus + connects. It will then remain connected. Your Pokémon GO Plus + should also vibrate slightly if you press the main button while it is connected to your game.

Moreover, place your Pokémon GO Plus + on your mattress near your pillow to track your sleep data.

Then, press and hold the main button for a moment.

Once the main button glows blue and the device vibrates lightly, you’ll know that tracking has begun.

6. Check The Battery

The Pokémon GO Plus + battery life may vary depending on use and operating environment.

If you connect Pokémon GO Plus + to Pokémon GO for two to three hours daily, the battery will last about a week.

If the battery is drained, you cannot use the Pokémon GO Plus + for playing Pokémon GO or tracking your sleep until you charge it again.

Press the top button to check your Pokémon GO Plus + battery level.

A small LED will light up, allowing you to check the battery level. If the LED is red, the battery is low and must be charged soon.

However, if the light on the top button doesn’t light up, you may need to replace the battery.

Moreover, if none of the above fixes work for you, you can read the Go-tcha-Manual or contact the customer care center.
