How To Enter The Inquisitor Chamber In BG3? 

The Inquisitor chamber is an area in the Roserym Monastery in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The area contains a boss that players must defeat to progress through the game.

To enter the Inquisitor’s chamber, a quest area in BG3 you must obtain The Dawnbreaker’s Crest and enter the corridor. Alternatively, you can either befriend or sneak past the Githyanki in the Creche.

This area is a must-complete to obtain one of the legendary items in Baldur’s Gate 3. 

Furthermore, this area ties into the story of Lae’zel, and this portion of the story can cause Lae’zel to turn hostile toward you.

Additionally, this area is a must-enter area because, after this area, players will obtain the legendary Blood of Lathander

How To Enter The Inquisitor Chamber In Baldur’s Gate 3? 

Follow the steps below to enter the Inquisitor’s chamber:

1. Obtain The Dawnbreaker’s Crest

The first step is to obtain the dawnbreaker’s crest by obtaining the three Celestial weapons

Furthermore, players must place the weapons in their respective places. 

This allows the players to obtain a pouch containing the Dawnbreaker’s Crest. 

2. Enter The Corridor

After the players obtain the Dawnbreaker’s Crest, they can enter a corridor leading toward an incubator and spread out. 

Through this corridor, players must head towards Creche Y’llek.

However, they do not need to enter Crèche Y’llek.

Instead, players need to head straight up toward the Captain’s Quarter

3. Enter The Inquisitor Chamber

After crossing the captain’s quarter, players will come across a huge iron door. 

Behind this door is the Inquisitor’s chamber. Here players will meet one of Lae’zel’s people.

Furthermore, Lae’zel may leave the party for good if players do not make proper choices. 

However, worry not; you can still ensure she does not leave by meeting one of the NPCs in the Monastery before going into the Inquisitor’s chamber.

Alternatively, to enter the Inquisitor’s chamber, you can either befriend or sneak past the Githyanki in the Creche.

You can also do this by completing some quests for them or using stealth and deception.

Inquisitor Chamber Statue Puzzle In BG3

The Inquisitor’s Chamber statue puzzle is a challenge that players need to solve to access the hidden chamber.

The puzzle requires you to rotate the statues in the chamber with the sun’s movement based on the inscriptions on them as given below:

  • The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The Inquisitor’s gaze follows the light.
  • The sun rises in the west and sets in the east. The Inquisitor’s gaze follows the dark.
Note: The statue on the left should face the east, and the right should face the west.
