How To Free Duke Aventry In Sea of Stars?

To help him, first, enter the tomb behind him, where you’ll come across a challenging puzzle involving runes within the Flooded Graveyard.
1. Solve The Flooded Graveyard Rune Puzzle
As you step inside the tomb, you’ll come across a securely barricaded chest and visually striking colored runes adorning the wall.
In order to solve this puzzle, you must acquire the ability to fly so that you are able to reach Ramaya’s Secret Passage.
Take the flight to find the island situated northeast of Wraith Island, where you’ll have the chance to interact with different spinners.
Finally, to successfully unlock the chest, your task is to align these spinners to match the runes you noticed inside the tomb behind Duke.
2. Unlock The Passage To Half-Sunken Tower
Once you’ve successfully cracked the puzzle, you’ll gain access to the chest and receive Romaya’s Journal.
Subsequently, hand this journal to the Duke waiting outside, which will prompt him to reward you with a Yellow Flame in return.
Now, you can use your Yellow Flame when interacting with the Ferryman to gain passage to an entirely new area referred to as the Half-Sunken Tower.
3. Going Through The Half-Sunken Tower
To venture into this undiscovered realm, use a raft by harnessing the power of the wind with your wind gust ability to explore around.
Begin by making your way toward the northeastern dock and climb up to activate the lever.
After this, you can access the tower; however, the obstructing rocks and the trees in your way will make it difficult to move further.
Activate The Lever
Return to your raft and propel yourself to another dock at the southeast corner to bypass the obstacles.
Inside the tower, activate another lever, creating a pathway for you to drop down onto the breakable floor below.
Hence, you’ll find yourself in a watery area, so now you must swim through a tidepool entrance into a new hidden area.
Defeat Ramaya And Retrieve The Locket
Here, you’ll reencounter Ramaya and uncover that she holds the locket responsible for imprisoning Aventry.
Consequently, you will have to battle with Ramaya once more to retrieve the locket from her.
This battle against Ramaya is identical to the first encounter, but this time, she adds a new move, elevating herself on a stack of bones.
To win this fight, prevent her from resurrecting any minions by shattering the bone stack and dispersing the pile of flesh and bones.
Indeed, after you defeat her, she will hand over the locket you can return to Duke Aventry.
The next step is to head back to the Ferryman, and he’ll take you to the Flooded Graveyard so you can reunite with the Duke.
How To Open The Coffin In The Flooded Graveyard?
You will need Duke Aventry’s Key from the Duke to open the coffin.
However, you won’t be able to find the Duke in his previous spot because he will have relocated to a new location.
1. Free Duke Aventry
Go to the Graveyard and pass through the main area to locate him in the bottom left corner, near the tomb with the mysterious coffin.
When you present him the locket, he’ll finally be free, and as a gesture of gratitude, he’ll give you the Duke Aventry’s Key to open the coffin.
2. Duke Aventry’s Key
Now, head into the tomb behind him and unlock the mysterious coffin with Duke Aventry’s Key.
Upon unlocking the coffin, you will obtain Eclipse Armor and the Aventry Crest Artifact as your gratuity.
These armors are some of the finest as they offer substantial advantages throughout your journey.
Thus, you can use it to your advantage for Valere and Zale.
