1. Download The PoE Item Filter

First, you must download a PoE item filter. If you are new to the game, we recommend using Neversink’s item filter.

You can download the loot filter from their official website Filterblade.

2. Choose Your Filter Strictness

The website allows you to choose between seven different strictness for your item filter. 

Furthermore, the strictness depends on your preference for items. 

Additionally, you can see veterans making their loot filters as strict as possible because of their vast knowledge of the game. 

3. Download The Item Filter

After you select your item filter strictness, you must download it. Here is how you can do it.

1. After you choose your strictness, you will see Save and Export in the top right corner.
2. Click on the option to be redirected to another part of the website to download the item filter. 
3. However, the steps do not end here after downloading the item filter and dead to downloads. 
4. Then, copy the item filter file. 
5. Then, head to Documents and find the My Games folder.

6. Paste the loot filter files inside the Path of Exile folder. 

4. Activate The Loot Filter In-Game

Lastly, head into the game and follow the steps below:

1. Go to Options and go to Game.
2. Here, you will find the Item Filter option and click the folder item beside the drop-down menu. 
3. Then, choose the item filter from the folder in your Path of Exile folder in your Documents.
