What Is Forge In Enshrouded?
Forge is a crucial crafting station in Enshrouded, allowing you to smelt raw materials into ingots.
Further, they are used to forge powerful weapons, armor, and tools.
Unlock and building your first forge is major milestone in the game’s progression, as it opens up a wealth of crafting possibilities.
There are two main types of forges in Enshrouded:
1. Campfire Forge
This elemental forge was constructed early in the game using readily available stone, wood, and clay resources.
It allows you to smelt basic materials like copper and iron into ingots, which can be used to craft weapons, armor, and tools at the forge.
Campfire forge has a production time of one minute for each ingot that you smelt.
You can speed this up by building multiple Campfire forges and using them simultaneously.
Build Campfire Forge
To build a Campfire forge, you need the following materials:
- Stone (10)
- Wood (5)
- Clay (5)
You must use a Kiln to bake Mud and Charcoal to make Clay.
You can find Mud by digging the ground with a Shovel or using a Water Bucket on Dirt.
Once you have the materials, open the Crafting Menu and select the Campfire forge recipe.
Then, please place it in your base near the Flame Altar.
2. Blacksmith Forge
This advanced forge requires rare materials to construct, such as steel and enchanted gemstones.
However, it unlocks the ability to smelt higher-tier materials like wolfram and elementium.
Further, you can use them to craft the most powerful gear in the game.
The Blacksmith forge also lets you access the Blacksmith’s blueprints.
Generally, they are unique recipes that require rare materials and offer better stats and effects.
You can unlock more blueprints by finding and rescuing the Blacksmith NPC in his Ancient Vault.
The Blacksmith forge has a production time of two minutes for each item that you craft.
