Who Is the Imposter In Remnant 2: Faelin or Faerie?

Remnant 2 is a highly-anticipated sequel to Remnant: From The Ashes that features new storylines, a new world, and new bosses.

Players must decide on multiple options that will affect the World’s fate for the rest of the play.

At the end of the scenario on Losom world, players will face the two world’s final bosses: Faelin or Faerie. Both are the Imposter in Remnant 2 sitting on the Throne, which is not meant for them.

What is Remnant 2?

In Remnant 2, the Root, a horde of monsters, threatens humans in a post-apocalyptic world.

The gameplays are primarily similar to its predecessor. However, this game comes with additional features.

In addition, players are given the role of a survivor and travel to different biomes to stop those roots.

Moreover,  players now have dual-class abilities, allowing them to combine the abilities of two archetypes.

In one of those biomes, Losomn, the player must choose either Faelin or Faerir.

However, both are Imposters Kings fighting for the Throne, so your answer will decide the rest of the world.

As you travel to Losomn, you will be tasked to find two masks Faelin’s Mural Mask and Faerin’s Mural Mask.

You can find one mask at Malefic Palace while another is be found inside The Great Hall.

Once you obtain both masks, you can face either Faelin or Faerie.

Moreover, one must go to Beatific Palace or the Malefic Palace and place the masks in their respective slots in the courtyards’ Giant Door.

Players will face Faelin if they go through Beatific Palace.

On the other hand, players will gace Faerin if they go through Malefic Palace.

Faelin and Faerie are both imposters. However, there is a vast difference in their characteristics and attitude toward humans.

  • Faelin: Faelin, the cruel and unjust ruler, enslaves the people of Losomn and forces them to worship him, earning the reputation of being the real imposter king.
  • Faerie: Faerie is the complete opposite of Faelin who has a kind and ability to restore the Losomn to former glory days. In addition, Faerie should be the rightful ruler of the Losomn biome.

Which One Should You Choose: Faelin or Faerie?

So, taking sides means players have to kill the other party. And how do you know whom you want to Side with?

To know, you have to focus on their drop after defeating them. After defeating Faelin, you will receive tons of rewards.

Players can use the Imposter’s Heart, which Faelin drops, to craft the Deceit long gun.

Imposter is a Crafting material that has warmth on one side and chills on the other side.

This item only drops if you defeat Faelin and call Imposter’s Heart.

Furthermore, it discloses that the Faelin is the real Imposter among the two of them.

On the contrary, as you choose to side with Faelin the Imposter, he will assign you to kill Faerin.

After you kill the Faerin, it will drop you Faerin’s Sigils, a ring that gives the player a damage buff against Faelin.

Faerin’s Sigils generate 10% more mod Power than the melee damage.
