Why Is Plunder Removed?
Plunder is a mode where you must collect and deposit cash, and it is currently only for Quads.
However, Plunder was removed from the original Warzone game in patch 1.42.
Additionally, it was removed from Warzone 2 on May 10, 2023.
It is removed due to changes in the game’s playlists and the addition of new modes such as Warzone Rumble and a free multiplayer weekend.
Significantly, the developers have promised to bring Plunder back soon, and it is expected to return on May 17, 2023, for Plunder Quads.
Is Plunder Still In Warzone?
Plunder is available in the Warzone Pacific playlist, on Caldera, the new map for Warzone 2.0.
However, it may expand to other modes in the future: Quads is a mode where you play in teams of four players.
Thus, Plunder is currently only available for Quads, meaning that you can only play Plunder with three other teammates.
However, the developers hint that they may add other modes for Plunder in the future.
Players can use Duos, Trios, or Solos, where you play with one, two, or no teammates respectively.
How To Access Plunder In Warzone?
You can access Plunder by launching the game and looking for the Plunder playlist.
The Plunder playlist is updated every Wednesday at 10 am PT, and it may include different squad sizes and map rotations.
To look for the Plunder playlist in Warzone 2.0, you need to launch the game and select the Plunder option from the main menu.
Generally, there are two ways to deposit cash in Plunder mode for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
1. Cash Deposit Helipads
The first is by using Cash Deposit Helipads, which are marked by a piggy bank icon on the map.
You can call a helicopter that drops a bag where you can deposit an unlimited amount of cash.
However, this will alert other players who may try to steal your money or kill you.
2. Cash Deposit Balloons
The second is using Cash Deposit Balloons, which you can find in Supply Boxes or buy at Buy Stations.
You can deploy a balloon anywhere and deposit up to $150,000 in it.
