What Is I Smell Trouble In WoW?

I Smell Trouble is a quest that involves investigating the suspicious activities of the Crown Chemical Co.

Furthermore, it is a shady company that sells perfumes and colognes during the Love is in the Air event.

The quest is available for both Alliance and Horde players, but the locations and NPCs are different depending on your faction.

1. Alliance

For Alliance players, the quest giver is Inspector Snip Snagglebolt, who can be found near the Trade District fountain in Stormwind.

He will provide you with a device called O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control, which allows you to control a mechanical dog named O.D.I.E.

You will use O.D.I.E. to sniff out clues around Stormwind and report back to Snip.

2. Horde

For Horde players, the quest giver is Detective Snap Snagglebolt, who can be found near the Orgrimmar Auction House.

He will also give you O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control, and you will use it to find clues around Orgrimmar and report back to Snap.

The questline consists of eight quests, which are:

1. Take a Look Around
2. Getaway to Scenic Feralas!
3. The Gift of Relaxation
4. An Unwelcome Gift
5. I Smell Trouble
6. Raising a Stink
7. Crushing the Crown
8. The Stench of Revenge

Completing I Smell Trouble Quest In WoW

To complete I Smell Trouble, you will need to use O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control near the locations in your faction’s capital city.

These locations are marked by yellow circles on your minimap, and they are:

1. For Alliance: The Trade District fountain, the Stormwind Harbor, the Old Town, and the Cathedral Square.
2. For Horde: The Orgrimmar Auction House, the Valley of Honor, the Valley of Wisdom, and the Valley of Spirits.

Objects To Collect

When you use O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control near these locations, it will move around and interact with objects.

You will need to find and click on the objects that have a white glow around them, which are clues related to the Crown Chemical Co.

These objects are:

1. A Formula for Intoxicating Toxic Perfume
2. A Memo from Apothecary Hummel
3. Map of Shadowfang Keep Security

Locations Of The Clues

Furthermore, the locations to find these clues are:

1. The first clue, which is Map of Shadowfang Keep Security, can be found at /way Stormwind 63.33, 69.88.

   

2. The second clue which is the Formula for Intoxicating Toxic Perfume can be found at /way Stormwind 60.16, 63.23.

   

3. The third clue which is the Memo from Apothecary Hummel can be found at /way Stormwind 65.45, 41.44.

   

However, some of the clues may not be on the exact location, and need to use O.D.I.E. to find them in the nearby area.

After you find and click on each object, you will get a message that says clue found and will update the quest for other clues.

Once you have found all four clues, you will complete the quest and be able to return to Snip or Snap to turn it in.

Rewards For Completing I Smell Trouble Quest

Completing I Smell Trouble will reward you with 55 silver, 15 Love Tokens, and 200 experiences.

Love Tokens are the currency of the Love is in the Air event, which can be used to buy various items from the Lovely Merchants.
