Ground Zero is the new map of Escape From Tarkov, which is launched on 0.14 patch.
In Tarkov, Ground Zero has five main extracts, one of which is Scav Extracts.

Ground Zero Scav Extracts: How To Find?
Ground Zero is the location situated in the city centre of Tarkov and has been recently added to the game.
It is surrounded by banks, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, and many other large number of infrastructure.
Moreover, players can use the Scav extracts to escape from the time-limited raid to survive and get back to their base.
In Escape From Tarkov, Ground Zero, you will find the vehicle extract and a co-op extract in the game.
However, the Scav extract is the co-op extract which you will find in the top left of the map.
You need to find a friendly Scav as a PMC to be at the terror group building.
Subsequently, from there take a left and follow the road around the right and you will find the Scav Checkpoint.
Upon entering the Scav checkpoint, a notification will pop up in the top right corner of the screen.
Hence, players need to cooperate with a Scav in order to extract from that Scav Extract Checkpoint.
Moreover, other newly added extraction points are the Police checkpoint, Emercom Checkpoint, Mira Prospect, and Nakatani Basement Stairs.
Lab Scientist: Locate Him At Ground Zero
In Escape from Tarkov, at Ground Zero, players need to complete the Saving the Mole Quest to locate the lab scientist.
Hence, you will find The Scientist in the back right corner of the main room in the TerraGroup Building, underneath the rubble.
Here is the guide that you can follow to locate the Lab Scientist at Ground Zero.
- Head towards the TerraGroup Building.
- On the left of this building, you will see the Empire, enter there.
- Go to the main entrance, and head to the left of it.
- On the right-hand side, you will see the big cat statue, pass from there.
- Turn to the left, and you will see a lab scientist lying down underneath the rubble.
Collect the key from there, which is a server-side key. However, if someone has taken it then you cannot loot the key.
However, if the key is not available, it is possible to reach room four through the windowsill of the adjacent room three.
Other Ground Zero Extracts
Some of the Ground Zero Extracts in Escape From Tarkov are mentioned below.
1. Mira Prospect Extract
To locate this extract, face Terror group headquarters and head down to the ramp.
Moreover, from there turn right and head towards the blue ramp.
Shoot a green flare into the sky, if the flare doesn’t reach a certain height, the extraction won’t open.
2. Nakatani Basement Extract
Follow the road to the right side of the Terror group headquarters.
Subsequently, you will find some subtle hints on your way which will lead you to Nakatani Tower.
Once you are in, run to the end of the hallway on the right side.
