What is Google Bard AI?
Previously, we have heard that Google is reportedly working on its own AI technology, which would make its way through pretty soon, and it’s finally here!
Many users are excited to access Google Bard AI and want to compare it against the well-established OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3.
As of now, Google will release the lightweight model version of LaMDA.
Google believes the lightweight version will require less computing power, making handling the sudden spike in user requests easier.
Additionally, it will enable them to scale up their systems while providing enough time to gather external feedback and conduct internal testing.
Despite big challenges down the road, Google is looking at Bard AI through rose-colored glasses.
Google Bard AI Features at Glance
Although Google has not started rolling out Bard for public users, we can still have some sneak peek images shared by Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google and Alphabet).
In his blog, he adds, “When looking for insights, AI features in Search can distill information to help you see the big picture.”
Analyzing Google’s statement, it looks like Bard has been integrated into Google Search itself.
We can expect the integration of the Bard to be similar to the ChatGPT integration in Microsoft Bing.
In this image, we can see that Bard integrated to Search, providing a 3-paragraph answer to the query is piano or guitar easier to learn, and how much practice does each need” before directing the user to the appropriate Google searches.
Similarly, in this image, we can see Bard simplifying complex topics, like explaining new discoveries from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope to a 9-year-old.
However, later on, it was found that the information was incorrect.
According to NASA, the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) captured the first images of exoplanets in 2004.
Can We Access Google Bard?
Currently, Google Bard has not made it through the public release yet, so you cannot sign up or access it in any way.
However, for testing purposes, Google has pushed this feature to a limited number of users.
Google is still working hard to make it available to the general public.
Google is playing a huge bet and is competing head-to-head with the already well-established OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3.
Therefore, Google expects a spike in usage as soon as it becomes available to the general public.
Google is utilizing external feedback and conducting internal testing to prepare it for public release.
If you are selected as one of the few individuals to test the all-new Google Bard, you will get access to it without any hiccups.
If you are not included in the testing, the only thing that you can do is wait to get publicly released.
Mr. Sundar Pichai has also stated that the APIs for the Google Bard will be available soon for developers who want to create their own set of tools.
Worth a Wait!
According to a recent report, Bard AI is not available for accessing or signing up for the general public.
So, the best thing we can do is wait for it to be publicly available to access Google Bard AI.
We will update you as soon as the Bard AI gets available for the public and will also guide you through the steps for signing up or accessing it.
