The Lightscale Trident is a legendary spear first introduced in Breath of the Wild. The Zora Champion Mipha once owned the spear.

Furthermore, King Dorephan gifts the spear to the player for their effort in Breath of the Wild.

Additionally, the Lightscale Trident is one of the four champion weapons.

Moreover, the Trident boasts a high durability of 70 and decent attack damage of 22, and the weapon is one of the fastest weapons in the franchise.

But, High Durability is not the only reason the weapon is desirable. The player obtains a buff while wet when they equip the weapon.

The buff provides Double attack damage. Moreover, this buff activates even after the player fuses the weapon with other materials.

Players can increase the base attack of the Lightscale Trident from 22 to 44 while it is wet.

However, when the player fuses the weapon with a Molduga Jaw, the base damage increases to 54.

Additionally, when wet, the weapon increases the damage to 108.

However, even with High Durability, the Lightscale Trident does break after losing all its durability in TotK.

But, the players can repair the weapon using Rock Octoroks and re-obtain the weapon.

How To Repair The Lightscale Trident?

Here are a few steps to repair the Lightscale Trident;

1. Fuse the Trident with a normal weapon.
2. Head to Eldin Mountains and find a Rock Octorok.
3. Drop the weapon in front of the Rock Octorok.
4. Wait until the Rock Octorok performs an attack to suck the weapon in.
5. After a certainperiode, the Rock Octorok will throw the weapon out.
6. The weapon will have a different effect, but the durability will be completely restored.

Alternative Methods To Reobtain The Lightscale Trident

Here are the two alternative ways to reobtain the Lightscale Trident;

1. Complete Glory Of Zora Quest

Follow the steps outlined below to obtain the Lightscale Trident by completing the Glory of Zora quest.

1. First, you must complete the main quest Sidon of the Zora. 
2. After you complete the main quest, head to Coral Reef and speak to Dento to start the side quest “Glory of the Zora.”

3. To complete the Glory of Zora quest, you must collect a Zora’s Spear, three diamonds and five pieces of flint.
4. Deliver the materials to Dento.
5. Dento will craft you a Lightscale Trident.

The player can obtain the Lightscale Trident through the first method.

However, when the Trident breaks, the player can follow the second method to reforge the weapon.

2. Reforge The Weapon

Once you break the Lightscale Trident, you can follow the following steps to reforge the weapon; 

1. First, Speak to Dento.

2. Provide Dento with Dora Spear, a diamond and five pieces of flint.

3. Dento will reforge the Lightscale Trident for the players.

While the first method is rather tedious to obtain the weapon, it rewards the players with Zora Armor.

However, the second method is a lot easier and less time-consuming.
