The Oubliette is a hidden area within the moonrise tower in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The area is connected to a portion of the main quest that players must complete.

Players can access the Oubliette area after defeating Ketheric Thorm. However, in some instances, players may not notice the tower. The Oubliette tower glows red and is broken near where the players defeat Ketheric Thorm.

What Is The Oubliette In Bg3?

Oubliette is a boss area within the moonrise tower of Act 2 in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The area becomes accessible after players defeat Ketheric Thorm in the tower.

However, the location is hard to find because the game does not direct you toward the area.

But, if you explore the area where you fought Ketheric, you will notice a broken tower with a red glow.

How To Complete The Oubliette Quest In Baldur’s Gate 3?

The first thing you must do is enter the glowing broken tower.

This will take you to the Oubliette in Baldur’s Gate. Furthermore, this area will also start the Chop! Chop! Chop! Oubliette quest.

After you explore the area a bit, you will come across a single Mind Flayer.

The Mind Flayer is the only enemy you must defeat in this questline. After you defeat the Mind Flayer, the Oubliette quest is complete.

However, in case this quest does not trigger for you in Act 2.

Do not worry because, as you progress through Act 3, you will come across this area again.

Furthermore, the reason it does not trigger is purely based on luck; thus, more often than not, you will trigger the Chop! Chop! Quest and enter the Oubliette.
