What Is Quell The Corruption In Warlords Ruin?
Quell the corruption in Warlords Ruin is the Hefnd’s Vengeance Final Dungeon in Warlords Ruin.
Furthermore, Quell’s corruption ends the Hex of Vengeful corruption by defeating the final boss.
To begin the Quell the corruption, you must encounter the final boss at the top of the tower.
This will bring you to the final boss arena, where you must shoot the black taken orb to spawn the boss.
When the boss spawns initially, it will be immune, so you cannot do any damage.
During this phase, many mini-bosses will also be spawned that you must kill to get rid of.
How To Complete Quell The Corruption In Warlords Ruin?
To complete the Quell the corruption, you must kill the final boss but defeat other enemies before killing the final boss.
Hence, there are different phases in the arena before you confront the final boss that are explained below:
1. Defeat Blighted Eyes And Damaging Blights
During this boss fight, you must be careful of Blighted Eyes and Damaging Blights.
The Blighted Eyes will spawn near the boss, so you must take it down.
Subsequently, there will be multiple damaging blights that spawn around the area of the arena.
If you walk near the damaging blights, it will give you significant damage over time and possibly kill you.
Hence, you must shoot at those damaging blights and extinguish them quickly.
2. Kill Scorn Captains And Scorn Turrets
Before you fight with the final boss, you will again encounter the scorn captain mini-bosses.
Two scorn captains will spawn in the arena; however, they are comparatively easier to take down than in the last encounter.
When you kill the two scorn captions, they will drop the scorn turrets.
Hence, you must go near these turrets and destroy them by shooting at the center.
3. Transfer Hex of Vengeful Corruption To Glowing Scorns
The most heart-pumping section of the final boss fight is the Hex of Vengeful corruption.
Eventually, after you defeat Blighted Eyes, damaging blights, scorn turrets, etc, you will get a debuff called hex of vengeful corruption.
The Hex of vengeful corruption has a timer of 15 seconds on your screen, and when it goes off, you will just die.
There is a trick that will help you avoid dying due to the Hex of vengeful corruption.
When you get the debuff you must search for glowing immune scorn enemies in the arena.
These immune scorn enemies are called Hex drinkers, who hold two rods with a glowing fire in the arena.
3. Melee White Hex Drinkers In The Arena
The trick is to transfer the Hex of vengeful corruption debuff onto these Hex drinkers by punching and meleeing them.
When you successfully transfer your Hex debuff onto them, they will transform into an all-black form.
However, you must be careful, as the Hex drinker may melee you back while they are in their all-black form.
If they melee you back, you will again get the Hex of Vengeful corruption, and the timer will again start to run.
So you must find the glowing white hex drinkers in the arena, melee them and jump away quickly to avoid getting melee back.
The hex drinkers are immune, so you can’t kill them; however, you can make them stop for a second using a grenade.
4. Naeem’s Wish Empowerment
Destroy at least one turret after this and Naeem’s Wish Empowerment buff to start the Damage phase.
When the damage phase starts, you can finally damage the final boss.
The timer for Naeem’s Wish buff starts, which only gives you a short period of damage phase.
Hence, when the timer stops, you cannot damage the boss anymore.
So to tackle this, you must kill as many scorn turrets as possible, as it will increase the wish buff timer.
5. Kill The Final Boss At Ring Of Debris
When you do much damage to the final boss, he will teleport to a new location in the Ring of Debris.
Many Blighted eyes will also spawn along with him, so you and your teammate must work together to bring the final boss down.
Remember that Hex of vengeful corruption may take you to the beginning again, so you must repeat the process.
Finally, you can kill the final boss at the Ring of Debris in Warlords Ruin of Destiny 2.
The Bottom Line
The Hex of Vengeful corruption is challenging as players must fight multiple enemies simultaneously.
You can follow the guide above to make this challenge more accessible and complete the Quell the corruption.
Thus, the best trick is coordinating with your team, taking down blighted eyes first, and defeating the final boss.
